20,000 downloads, three months in

As of 24 August 2026, ColorWander had 20,000 downloads on iOS. The app had been on the store for three months. For a first iOS app, that week was a milestone. Thank you to everyone who followed it, downloaded it, or sent a card on.
The note I wrote that week said there were more than 20 layouts. The app now has 28. You pick a photo. It reads the main colors and keeps the place, the time and a line you want to hold onto, as a ticket, a calendar, a receipt, a Polaroid, a film frame, or one of the others. It is not a filter. Color and layout are done on the phone. There is no account. The figure 20,000 is the count from that week, not a live total.
