Color top — the classic color card
Free
The layout ColorWander started with. One color from your photo sits above the picture like a title, so the photo and its strongest color read as a pair.
What it looks like
A solid block of color fills the top of the card and the photo fills the rest. The caption — place and time, or a literary line — is centred in the color.
What you can change
- Split slider: how much of the card is color (20–50%, snaps at 20, 25, 33 and 50%)
- Background opacity: fade the color so the photo shows through it
- “Made with ColorWander” mark (Pro can turn it off)
- Any of the app’s colors: solid, gradient or a blurred copy of the photo
Good for
- A first card from any photo
- Travel photos with a strong sky or sea
- Simple, clean posts
Tips
- Try 33% color for a lighter band, 50% for a bold poster look
- If the top of your photo is sky, a color from lower in the photo makes a better contrast
