Gradient top — color that fades into the photo
Free for a limited time
Instead of a hard edge, the color melts into the photo. It suits soft light, skies and water.
What it looks like
A band of color covers the top of the card. It stays solid for most of its depth, then fades to clear over the photo. The caption sits in the solid part.
What you can change
- Split slider: how much of the card is color (20–50%, snaps at 20, 25, 33 and 50%)
- Background opacity: fade the color so the photo shows through it
- Fill: a solid color, one of 80 preset gradients, your own gradient with an angle, or a blurred copy of the photo
- “Made with ColorWander” mark (Pro can turn it off)
Good for
- Sunsets, skies and sea
- Photos with soft edges and no strong lines
- Dreamy, quiet posts
Tips
- Pick a color from the edge of the photo the gradient touches — the fade becomes almost invisible
- Gradient angle and film grain are in the Color tab and free for everyone
